Garden of the Gods
I've decided that not only am I a bird-nerd and a plant-geek, but apparently I am also a rock hound. I love rock formations, and Garden of the Gods, near Colorado Springs, has some dandys!

The different shapes and formations in this area are amazing.

Also the curious want to know---how, what, when. Everything you go to see is breathtaking. Then when you get to go further south-------more so. The deep Southwest is spectacular.
