On the road, from Las Vegas to Arizona to sell Christmas trees.
Knitting, with my faithful dog at my side.
Just in case you didn't already know,…
this is what happens to paper towels if you don't clip them before going down a bumpy highway in a motorhome.
Day 1 at the tree lot in Casa Grande, AZ
Nothing here but the tent.
(You can see the truck and the White Whale behind the tent.)
Day 2, the porta-potty arrives,...
and so does the shipping container where we will store all our supplies.
Day 3, Getting supplies,…
Tables, chairs, tree stands, signs, shade cloth,...
extension cords, hoses, tools, chain saws,...
generators, gas cans, loppers, tree dolly, ….
propane heater, tree drilling machine, saw horses,...
office supplies, cash register, decorations, candy canes,...
and a partridge in a pair treeeee.
(By the way,… Yes, I was indeed helping unload,... but I had to stop to take pics now and then!)
Now all we need are trees and employees!
Trees will be here Sunday.
It's starting to look like,… 'something'.

I love the bougainvillea and oleander down here. So pretty!
Still amazes me to see things blooming so happily in the winter! :o)
Pick (or dig) me up some interesting house plants, K? So, did you get to "hire" Chawley?
ReplyDeleteWhoa, that's a lot of work setting up the tree lot. Poor Charley, you drag him into the darnedest situations. But he's a trooper, anything for the little lady.

AND I do love bougainvillea-----I saw them EVERYWHERE in Palm Desert, so gorgeous.
