Ponies in the horse shit...

Some of you may remember my "Ponies in the Horse Shit" story from my sailing blog.  It was basically about finding the good in a bad situation.  

Well, here is the opposite side,...

We HAVE been seeing a lot of beautiful sights, and having a wonderful time, 

but,...

"I guess you can't have ponies without having to deal with a little horse shit."

Sigh,... Sweet Charley tried to open the side window on the camper shell to let a honey bee out, (because I didn't want the bee to get hot and die).  

Apparently the hinge was stiff, and the window shattered into a zillion pieces.  Now we have a Walmart window until we can find a dealer and get it replaced.

Then, we were driving along on our way to Devils Tower, and WHACK!  

Big rock!  Right in the middle of the windshield!

This is the brand new, $3,000 windshield Charley had replaced in July. 

Well, I guess that's why God made auto insurance.
